      Japan's No.1 Tempura Tendon: Specialized Tempura Restaurant

      Kaneko Hannosuke is a renowned Japanese tempura restaurant specializing in tendon (tempura donburi) and the winner of the national Donburi Grand Prix for seven consecutive years. As well as introducing the 100% original secret sauce, selected ingredients and tableware, the Taiwanese franchise sent its top staff to Japan for culinary training and hired Japanese designers for its restaurants to replicate the brand spirit of Kaneko Hannosuke. With the original taste presented in every exquisite, hearty and affordable tempura rice bowl, Taiwanese gourmets can experience the authentic flavours and good times of the Edo period in Japan.       Featuring a 30-cm conger eel

      This signature dish is made with fresh conger eel (anago) and other seafood, deep-fried in batter until golden brown with the aroma of sesame. Dipped in the secret sauce, the tempura is crispy, not greasy, and melts in your mouth. The rice, perfectly cooked with a slightly salty and sweet flavour, complements the tempura. Partway through eating, the soft-boiled egg tempura is pierced, coating every grain of rice with a delicious multi-layered eggy mixture that leaves a fragrant lingering taste.

      1. Members must present their Asia Miles by Cathay membership card at the time of payment. Asia Miles cannot be issued afterwards.
