Jacob's Dream is a Cantonese restaurant on the second floor of Hanns House, a hotel located in the upscale business area of Xinyi. The innovative interior creates an ambience reminiscent of the modern-retro style of the Shanghai Concession era, recreating the delightful scenes of the literati gathering for drinks and conversation.
With over 15 years of experience, the former one-Michelin-starred sous chef presents meticulously crafted Cantonese dishes made with fresh, quality ingredients.

Classic Cantonese cuisine
From the garlic crispy chicken to the typhoon shelter soft-shell crab to the six classic appetizers in the banquet set menu, including much-loved cod fish with salted egg yolk, each dish embodies the essence of Cantonese cuisine.
Catering to every banqueting need
The open dining area, including semi-private booths, seats 56 guests. There are also five private rooms for eight to 18 guests: the largest has a separate dressing room, and two can be combined for 24 guests. A projector and other conference equipment are available for use.
Taiwan's first local terroir bar
The restaurant's exclusive RED Bar offers 100 wines and spirits from over 20 local wineries and distilleries. Savour pure liquors or innovative cocktails, and discuss the concept of terroir with the bartenders.
